The Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria today had its 2021 Christmas carol and thanksgiving service with a adequate representation of the insurance industry at the Hoares Memorial Methodist Cathedral, Yaba, Lagos. The representation by the industry was foreshadowed by the request for loss of voice cover making a landfall but without risks spinning out.
It was not just a carol of nine lessons but with a take away risk bundle offered by Very Rev Oluwole A Kuyebi, Cathedral presbyter/minister-in-charge containing lighter mood demand for loss of voice cover while on stage performance.
The deputy president, Mr. Edwin Igbiti, who stood in for the president, Sir Muftau Oyegunle, assured Rev Kuyebi, that despite the relaxed mood of presentation, the insurance market is prepared, ready for such risks landing for underwriting with the adequate premium charged.
The carol featured two industry own choir, first to perform was the Mutual Benefits Assurance Choir, coming after was the Professional Insurance Ladies Association Choir. Also in attendance was a past CIIN president, Lady Isioma Chukwuma, deputy president Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers Mr. Oguntade, Director General Nigerian Insurers Association, Mrs Yetunde Ilori and several other dignitaries.
